Creative Synthesist is the brand name for Jane Hearst and her collaborators. Since becoming the Research and Policy Manager at the National Centre for Creative Health (NCCH), Jane's freelance work primarily consists of:
- Writing and editing professional books
- Producing multi-media about creative health (think: videos and podcasts, with the odd song thrown in for fun)
- Supporting book reviews from other creative health authors
Through her work at NCCH, Jane can also support you:
- Featuring your practice, research and evaluations in reports and publications (including the annual Research Round-up)
- Support with writing policy briefs or evidence submissions
- Helping you prepare a contribution to an APPG roundtable
- Participating in interviews/ focus groups/ workshops for your research projects
- Meeting to discuss your work and how it links in to others in the field/ the wider systems and policy context
- Sharing ideas for NCCH's work in Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging
- Anything else you can think of which has an audience of Health and Care Leaders
Finally, through her work with UCL, Jane works with systems to record their creative health implementation journeys - helping to share best practice with other systems. If you are interested in being a system that is included in our research, you can contact the Prinicple Investigator for our programme, Prof. Helen Chatterjee, at: h.chatterjee@ucl.ac.uk
Prior to her work at NCCH, Jane offered additional consultancy services. To get an idea of her braoder skillset, you can watch her services video from that time:
